Fund Raising

Take some shy smiles, a little giggle and some twinkling eyes. Stir in some sunshine and a drop of rain. Whisk in a large amount of glorious music and singing. Top with a quiet visit to the Grotto, take the sharing, the caring the love and the laughter, the happiness and the friendships, throw them all together and you have a wonderful holiday with HCPT Manchester region.
'Andrew'
'Catherine' Every year we have children like little Andrew who dreams of being Ryan Giggs and running down the wing for Manchester United or little Catherine who dreams of being a famous ballerina. All the children we meet have dreams and ambitions just like any other child .
Each year a group of volunteers from the Manchester region take disabled or disadvantaged children, of all disabilities, backgrounds and denominations, for a holiday of a lifetime to a town in the South of France called Lourdes.
Liturgy on the prairie

All this fun, laughter and caring depends on one major factor - Money. The Manchester region aims to take 50 children to Lourdes each Easter. The helpers who go are all volunteers and all pay for themselves, leaving a target of £36,000, every penny of which helps towards a local disabled child having a holiday of a lifetime at Easter.

Every year one of the hardest parts of organising this wonderful annual event is covering the children's cost. We are looking for sponsorship of any description that would assist us in raising this sum. From cash donations to raffle prizes, every little helps.

You can help to make these children's dreams come true by helping us in any way that you can.

We humbly ask for your help. Please know that the Trust and the children are very grateful for your generosity.

If you would like further information or if you can help in any way please email and we will put you in contact with the appropriate people. Also have a look at our 'Events' page.
