PAULINE LOMAX RIP

Dear Friends,

I called just now to speak to Joe Lomax but he was very tied up. On speaking to his son, I learned the sad news that Pauline died yesterday afternoon.

The funeral service has been arranged already and the details are as follows:

On: Tuesday 11 November 2008

At: St. Thomas of Canterbury Church
Eastbourne Road
Bolton

1045 Rosary
1100 Funeral Service
1230 Burial at Heaton Cemetery.

Please remember Pauline in your prayers and Joe and his family and friends at this very difficult time for them.

"May She Rest in Peace"

John

I was speaking to brother joe adams this week and we were concerned at the lack of old boys from blaisdon from the 60s 70s and 80s we feel that we have lost touch with them . if any one knows names and numbers of past pupils i would be happy if you could email them to me as we feel that we have not done enough to keep contacts up to date. many thanks,
wayne howe

Would be nice to hear from Cowley ex-pupils. I was there from 1966 to 1969, leaving after attending 5th form. No point in staying on for 6th form because the school was turning "comp" within the next year.

John.
Great site. Some memories are now a blur of my time at Highfield Rd. Fortunately the ones I do have are of great times. Good times with both friends and the teaching staff, which are/were second to none, Fr Madden, Fr Gibbons, Fr Carrol, Bro John. I left in 1981 and headed off to Esher 6th form! Boy I wish i'd stayed on at Highfield Rd. If there are any ex-pupils from my years at school and you can remember me please drop me a line. I hung around mostly with Warren Glasgow, Aaron Green, Eamonn Moran, Robert Cole. Other names still fresh are David Skinner, Giancarlo Baldisone, Michael Downes, Eamonn Moran, Christopher Fortune, Chris Harvey. Wow mor names came back than I thought. I am now a Police Officer /Firefighter living in Missouri USA. Again great site and good luck with the growth

Just signing in as a 'guest' having found this book quite by chance and a past pupil from Salesian in Cowley. Left 1958.

I did go back for a visit once but found the whole place had been pulled down and replaced with houses. Bit sad really (no the houses as people have to live in them) You know.....
