Blaisdon Millennium Reunion
The Biggest and Best Blaisdon Reunion so far, was held over the August Bank
Holiday weekend. A real Millennium celebration for Blaisdon Past Pupils and
their families.
Over 125 people enjoyed the Millennium meal in the Blaisdon
Village Hall. Invited guests from the village and the Stud Farm were hosted
and invited to join the Top Table. Father Sean Murray SDB, the National
Delegate to the Past Pupils, with a very special affection for the Blaisdon
Association, was the Celebrant at a Missa de Angelis Latin Mass, sung
lustily by all, with Michael Turnbull at the Organ in St Michael's Parish
Church.
At this Reunion a new President was elected for Blaisdon and, very
fittingly, it was Charlie Springett who had undertaken the planning of this
very special Reunion.A truly great day!
