Honours for Battersea Past Pupil

It has been a very special week for Augustine (‘Gus’) O’Donnell, who was a pupil at Salesian College Battersea in the late sixties, and is now a Governor at the College. He also plays football for the Battersea Old Salesians Football club!

On Saturday 11th June he was made Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath (KCB) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Then, on 15th June he was made Cabinet Secretary, and head of the UK Civil Service.
