"I am just back from attending the Golden Jubilee celebration of the Ordination of a Battersea Past Pupil, Father George Dangerfield. At the last Battersea AGM Father invited all who were present to come his Golden Jubilee Mass.
"This was held in the beautiful St James', Spanish Place, in London. It was a magnificent and inspiring sung High Mass, in Latin, with a wonderful organ and choir. Father George Dangerfield, dressed in Gold vestments, preached an inspiring Sermon, which endorsed, so firmly, all that I was taught by the Salesians at Blaisdon."
