Jim Richards, Director of the Catholic Children's Society (Westminster), formerly The Crusade of Rescue, was ordained a Deacon of the Catholic Diocese of Westminster in his Parish church at Heston on Saturday 1st July 2006. A number of ex Crusade of Rescue boys who are now Past Pupils of the Salesians at Blaisdon, were humbled and honoured to be invited to this wonderful event.
