Funeral of Fr Pearse O'Byrne SDB
The Funeral of Fr Pearse O'Byrne took place in the beautiful new Church of Our Lady Help of
Christians at Farnborough on Friday 23rd February 2001. Fr Francis Preston, the Provincial,
presided with concelebrants from the diocese and from Salesian communities far and near. As well
as relatives,
several members of the National Council were present, along with present and past pupils of the
Salesian College and representatives from Sandhurst and Crowthorne.
