Yet another great Salesian Day was held at the Ewell, Surrey sports ground of the Battersea Football Club.

Battersea Old Boys and School teams

Sunday's competition format had to be changed due to the withdrawal of Chertsey and Farnborough Old Boys teams. The three remaining teams (Battersea Old Boys and Battersea and Chertsey School teams) each played 2 x 40 minute games on a league basis (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw)

The timetable and sequence of games was:

1. 10:00-Mass in the Social Club - led by Fr Des O'Riordan
2. 11:00-Battersea School v Chertsey School
3. 11:50-Battersea School v Battersea Old Boys
4. 12:45-Chertsey School v Battersea Old Boys
5. 13:30-Cup and Individual Trophy presentations
